So, now that I have a moment of sleeplessness, I figure I'll write a journal to let you all know whats going on seeing as I haven't really been active recently, and to tell you what my plans are in the nigh-future.
So first of all, I want to share the fact that it is exam week, and tomorrow I have my second exam; French. The first exam went well seeing as it was an Business English listening exam, and as you may have guessed by now, I'm fluent in English. The whole hour was hell as I would look over to Dima every now and then to see if he was suffering of boredom as much as I was. Sometimes its nice to know people are suffering just as much as you are
So after the French exam, I have my European Politics exam on Wednesday and then my Introduction to European Culture exam on Friday. Finally next Monday, I've got my Spanish oral exam, which is really the only one I'm worried about to be honest. I'm not worried because its hard, I'm simply worried because our teacher didn't exactly go over the simple verbs like "Ętre" and "Avoir" would be in French. So after a bit of self study, I'll be right as rain.
After the exams, I have a trip to Rotterdam and a trip to Luik (Liege/Luttich) scheduled with school. Of course I'll bring my camera to I can take some pictures seeing as that is something I'm way overdue on. Speaking of traveling, that brings me on to the next topic which is Christmas. The next time I'm scheduled to see my family is during the Christmas holiday, and that includes (hopefully) a trip up to Bonn to see my girl. It'd be great if I could spend new years with her and her family as I haven't seen them properly since this summer.
While I'm home I also plan on getting some of my airsoft kit together with the help of the local military outfitting shop on-post. I can't wait to get out on the field and play/take pictures of the action. A close friend of mine from high school, Thomas, is already active in the sport, but I had to wait for my papers to be able to start. Speaking of Thomas, I hear he's coming to my uni next year for his exchange program. I can't wait to have a close mate here again, and aside from gaming together, it'll be great to spend more time with him. He's tons of fun!
I should probably get some sleep. After my exam tomorrow, I have a drinking contest with people from the Oriental Studies faculty from my uni. It's going to be "hella-fun"!
